LIMA - Digging under a street in the Peruvian capital, Lima, workers installing gas pipes stumbled across a mummy more than 1,000 years old, according to the gas company and archaeologists. The discovery was made on July 31 by the company Calidda, which has reported more than 2,000 archaeological finds since 2004. Archaeologists on the site believe it to be an ancient burial site dated to the pre-Inca Chancay culture.
