Oyam byelection: Four nominated, four a no-show

Omodo said Vice-President Jessica Alupo and other senior officials from the NRM secretariat called and requested him to quit the race and he opted to do so because of his love and respect for the party.

On Tuesday, Onoba said only four candidates were nominated and others neither showed up nor did they inform EC about their failure to turn up.
