Others in the race, which concluded late night Wednesday (August 27, 2025) were incumbent region vice-chairperson Kiwanda Geoffrey Suubi with five votes, Kyeswa Hakim with 163 votes and Ssewava Mukasa Joseph with no votes.
However, New Vision Online has established that by the time the voting was conducted, Kiwanda had withdrawn from the race. It is, therefore, not clear why the five delegates voted for him.
Total voters for the region were 8,343.
