Celebrated singer Eddy Kenzo whipped a mammoth crowd of President Yoweri Museveni's supporters into a frenzy with thrilling performances at Lionga Boma Grounds in Obongi town council, Obongi district, on Friday (October 17).
While on stage, Kenzo performed a number of his popular songs, including Sitya Loss, which he is famed for, as the ecstatic crowd waited for Museveni to arrive for his first campaign rally of the day.

Museveni, who is holding the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party flag in next year's general election, is currently on a campaign trail around the West Nile sub-region.
Kenzo was later joined on stage by NRM bigwigs, including the party secretary general Richard Todwong, Government Chief Whip Denis Hamson Obua and state ministers Balaam Barugahara (youth and children affairs) and Evelyn Anite (investment).

Many of the NRM supporters waved yellow T-shirts and danced to Kenzo's music. They were also wowed by local musicians.
By press time, the President had just arrived.

From Obongi, Museveni headed to Moyo for the last rally of the day as he seeks his seventh consecutive presidential term.
