Former Kream Production band artiste Daudi Mugema held a fundraising concert at Vox Lounge and Bar in Makindye, a city suburb, on March  14, 2024, to cater for his hospital bills in Turkey.

The singer is battling stage one cancer. 

 Despite the physical and emotional toll the sickness had taken on him, Mugema remained grateful for the support he had received from friends, family, and fans.

The event featured a number of artistes, including Sewa Sewa, who came out to show their support for Mugema in his time of need.

Among those who contributed to Mugema's fundraising efforts were fellow artistes such as Haruna Mubiru, Eddy Kenzo and the Lord Mayor of Kampala, Erias Lukwago.
