KAMPALA - The 2018 bride and groom expo is fast apraoching. The 10 edition of the expo is scheduled for 22-24.

Shopaholics should brace themselves for the bargains with an entry of sh10,000 at the Lugogo exhibition hall.

Ronald Kiryowa, the photographer with Photo Artistik, says that shoppers should expect giveaways that will be coming in on a daily basis.

"On the first day clients who book with us photography and videography will receive packages for weddings at half price.

The second day; clients will enjoy a 50% discount on introduction ceremony packages.

While on the third day, one client will win a full package of photography and videography as long as the wedding is scheduled to be in the month of July."

Offers start from sh3m for introduction ceremonies and sh5m for wedding packages that also include a photo book.

Bridal wear and jewellery

Lovers of fashion, bridal wears as well as jewwllery will be garanteed with a 10% discount on all their items. This will only apply for shoppers who will come with their coupons after the bride and groom expo, reveals Margaret Kyambadde, the director, bride and groom.

NM International Ltd, which is well known for jewellery will have a raffle at their stall.

"The first prize is a sari material, the second prize is jewellery and the third prize is perfume," explains Rachana Mehta of NM International.

The shoppers will be spoilt for choice with lots of hair accessories and bridal earrings.

Unik bridals, a one stop shopping center; where one can choose a wedding venue, hire a decorator and bridal parallel depending on one's preference will also be out to splash discounts on their goods and services.

"Clients who book us for wedding décor will enjoy a 20% discount on bridal attire. This discount will be enjoyed by shoppers who come to our shop with our flyer," elaborates Unia Kamya, the director of Unik bridals.

Cake

No cake, no wedding. Cake to differ is offering a 15% discount to clients who will order wedding cake to crown your special day.

"We shall give clients fountains of chocolate or wine as well as personalised cupcakes if they book us for a wedding cake," says Dr Anne Wajja of Cake to differ.

Saving tips

Well, incase you plan a wedding or introduction not so far from now, you are adviced to utilise the bride and groom expo.

This will help you book a service provider of your choice and enjoy the discounts available.

Utilise the expo to also get a clear guideline for your wedding budget if you have not yet made one.

Save on transport costs by finding different service providers under one roof.
