On August 16, 2003, Field Marshall Idi Amin Dada VC DSO MC CBE, Life President of the Republic of Uganda, died of kidney failure at the King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and was buried in Ruwais Cemetery, Jeddah.
