Fabian Kasi announced as District Governor Nominee Designate
Kasi will serve as the District Governor for Rotary Clubs in District 9213 during the 2027 - 2028 period.

Centenary Bank Managing Director Fabian Kasi has been announced as the District Governor (DG) Nominee Designate.
Kasi will serve as the District Governor for Rotary Clubs in District 9213 during the 2027 - 2028 period.
He will serve after the term of district governor nominee, Gerald Obai, from the Rotary Club Gulu (2025-2026), who will replace district governor-elect Geoffrey Kitakule from the Rotary Club of Kampala South (2026-2027). Currently, Anne Nkutu holds the reigns as District 9213 governor.
District Governors provide leadership, motivation, and guidance to Rotary clubs under the overall supervision of Rotary International, according to Rotary International.
Kasi's elevation was announced during the closing event of the Rotary District Conference held at the Civil Service College in Jinja last week.
Speaking during an event organized by Kiwatule Rotary to welcome him and congratulate him upon his elevation at Kabira Club in Kampala on Wednesday, Kasi expressed gratitude for being elected and pledged to offer his all for the good of humanity.

"On behalf of the Rotary Club of Kiwatule, I want to thank my president through my club for having nominated me to be the governor,” he said.
"I am glad that the district has seen me fit to be the governor in the next two years. "
Kasi joined the Rotary Club of Kiwatule in 2005 and went on to become its president in 2011.
Under his leadership, Centenary Bank has reportedly helped support several rotary causes, including the Rotary Cancer Run.
Other contributions include refurbishing essential facilities such as the cancer centre and the Rotary Blood Bank.
Rotary works with seven areas of focus, which include taking care of the environment, education and literacy, maternal and child health, and conflict resolution among others.
Globally, there are over 46,000 clubs worldwide, including more than 400 of which are in Uganda.
