In Created to Dream, Rick Warren hits the ground running by clearly stating that we were all created to dream. He puts it clearly that God’s plan for our lives is to see us pursue the dreams He has for each one of us.
Warren explains that with and through faith, we can live to see our dreams come true. He even goes further to simplify how one can know if the dream is just human ambition or God-given through “The 6 Phases God Uses to Grow Your Faith”.
The six phases are: Dream, Decision, Delays, Difficulties, Dead Ends and Deliverance. Perhaps not all believers may go through these phases, but Warren backs up each phase with Scripture as if to show how we are all destined for greatness.
For example, Warren says God plants the dream within us by referring to Ephesians 3:20-21: “God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, His Spirit deeply and gently within us.”
