Residents of some parts of Kampala and surrounding areas should brace themselves for a 12-hour interruption in water supply on Friday (April 10).
The 7am-7pm interruptions are planned, said the National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) in a Thursday alert, regretting "all inconveniences".
"This is to allow for a routine maintenance exercise of the treatment units and electro-mechanical systems at the Ggaba 2 water complex," reads the communication.
Customers in the affected areas have been urged to "use the available water sparingly during this down-time".

▪️Kawanda
▪️Mulago
▪️Makerere
▪️Namirembe
▪️Rubaga
▪️Makindye
▪️Nsambya and the surrounding areas.
