Starting tomorrow (February 27), and running throughout the weekend, visitors will bask in the experience of garnering knowledge, watching demonstrations and discovering innovations at the expo.

Harvest Money Expo has been sponsored by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, ENGSOL, Pearl Bank, CASE, aBi, Tunga Nutrition, and Champrisa International Limited. Others include: Uganda Development Corporation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, and the European Union.

Since there will be a buzz of activity, there is a possibility of visitors getting overwhelmed by it all.  Below are some of the features at the expo that visitors should not miss out on:

1) The Netherlands (Dutch) Village. This will be the place to see high-tech demonstrations and business clinics, where you can learn about European farming, its technology and hacks.

2) Machinery. If you are looking for farming tools and machines, the expo has it all—from the huge tractors to the small extractors.

3) Animal husbandry. Interested in starting an animal farm? Come to the expo to listen to breeders, pasture growing, harvesting and storage dealers, as well as treatment.

4) Seeds. Get the right seeds for your soil at the expo. Experts in soil testing and seeds will be there to help you determine the seed you need for your farm’s terrain.

5) Value addition. Grow your farm from a producer of raw material to finished products at the expo with expert advice on value addition. You will be pleasantly surprised at how versatile your produce can be when experts guide you to make a variety of products from it.
