Ugandans lose EAC jobs, stranded in Tanzania

“I am terrified and stranded. I do not know what to do and where to go,” Mary confided to colleagues. Mary’s story is not unique. She is one of more than 40 staff members, many of them Ugandans, whose contracts were suddenly terminated at the EAC Secretariat, leaving them stranded in Tanzania and unsure of their future.
