Uganda Adventist Church elects 11 bishops, heads of departments

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Uganda has elected eleven field presidents (bishops) to serve for a period of five years in their respective fields.

The ninth session of Uganda Union Mission convened at Imperial Botanical Beach Hotel in Entebbe on Monday (Nov. 17) also elected executive secretaries, executive treasurers for those entities and department heads at Uganda Union.

The regional church head, the president of East and Central African Division, Pastor Dr Blasius Ruguri and his executive secretary, Pastor Dr Moses Maka are presided over the session.

The new leaders will serve for a period of five years (2025-2030).
