Police in Njeru, Buikwe district, have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of 17-year-old Dominic Pasifiki Manishabe, who went missing on March 31, 2025, and was later found dead in a forest near his home in Bugoma Wabusake village.

Ssezibwa Region Police spokesperson Hellen Butoto said the breakthrough came when a concerned mother shared what her son witnessed.

“Her son saw the suspect, Henry Kamoga, beating the victim and warned him not to speak out. That information helped us make the arrest,” Butoto stated.
