Speaker Among offered 'Toka Kwa Barabara' singer Mulwana financial support, says Haruna Mubiru

Four days back before his passing, Mulwana underwent cancer tests, which came back negative.

The body of Toka Kwa Barabara hit-maker Adam Mulwana arrived at the National Theatre at 4:00pm on February 13 for mourners to pay their last respects before burial, which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, February 14, at his ancestral home in Luweero at 2:00pm.

The singer, who came to the limelight with the song praising former Forum for Democratic Change party president and presidential candidate Col. (rtd) Dr. Kizza Besigye, died today morning, February 13, at Doctor's Hospital Seguku, where he had been admitted.

 Mulwana had been battling liver complications for years after he was poisoned.

According to  singer Haruna Mubiru, who was Mulwana's close friend, several people, including Parliament Speaker Anita Among, offered Mulwana financial support.

He said Besigye gave him a private doctor for check-ups and medication.
