Senior pastor and founder of Christian Life Ministries Church at Makerere-Kavule in Bwaise, Jackson Ssenyonga, has appealed to the Born-Again Christians to shun and denounce false prophets.

Ssenyonga made the appeal during the Christmas sermon that attracted hundreds of Born-Again Christians. However, Ssenyonga never mentioned the said false prophets.

“We have false prophets, and you know them. You should shun them and get saved,” Ssenyonga said.

Ssenyonga blessed over 100 people, whom he said had crossed from other churches, including those of false prophets and joined his church.

Give abundantly to get abundantly

Citing a verse from the Bible, Ssenyonga also implored the Born-Agains who want to get abundance in the coming year to also give abundantly to the church.

“You cannot give little to the Church and expect more from God. Therefore, if you want to get abundantly in the coming year, you should also give abundantly to the church to carry on Jesus’s mission of spreading the gospel,” Ssenyonga said.

Ssenyonga said a Born-Again Christian who wants to reap in the coming year must plant abundant seed in the Church by giving much more money.

While the month and the date on which Jesus was born is unknown, Ssenyonga urged the born again Christians to celebrate Christmas with joy.

“There are people who claim that Jesus was not born on December 25. Whether he was born in October or any other day, don’t allow them to detract you. Celebrate it with joy because at least we know that he was born, and this is what we celebrate,” Ssenyonga said.

Imploring the born-again Christians to embrace Christmas, Ssenyonga said the birth of Jesus broke the chains.

“Jesus came to destroy the actions of Satan. So, the purpose of celebrating Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, which you should embrace with joy,” Ssenyonga said.

Educate your children

Ssenyonga also appealed to the born-again Christians to enrol their children in majorly born-again-founded schools for proper upbringing.

“We have good born-again schools at all levels, and we urge you to give them priority,” Ssenyonga said.
