The mufti said Mubiru’s sermon is misleading, imploring Muslims to disregard it. “I have found the explanations erroneous and vague,” Mubaje said. He warned Muslim clerics against such controversial sermons because they not only cause confusion among Muslims but can also spark bloodshed and conflicts in society.
Mubiru appeared before the panel of sheikhs on Tuesday (October 7). The meeting was held in the Uganda Muslim Supreme Council (UMSC) boardroom.
