Sh4b bail cash unclaimed — Judiciary
Pius Bigirimana, the Judiciary permanent secretary observed that many suspects do not bother to apply for the refund of the bail cash once cleared by the court yet they are entitled to the money whether convicted or acquitted.

The Judiciary has revealed that while it collected a total of sh6.1b in bail cash in the financial year 2022/2023, only sh1.8b has been claimed and refunded.
Delivering his
