Power blackouts worsen under 45 days of UEDCL
“The power is unreliable,” Wabwire noted. In Luzira, Kampala, residents reported going without power for a week, after a transformer serving over 1,000 residents blew up.
About over 44 days since UEDCL took over Uganda’s power distribution from Umeme, power blackouts have become common, yet the response is usually slow or not there at all.
