Police seek public help to identify man found murdered in Kabale

Police in Kabale district are appealing to the public to help identify a male adult whose body was found dumped along Nyakijumba–Mwanjari road on December 15, 2025.
Kigezi region Police spokesperson Elly Maate says the body bore fresh head injuries, suggesting the victim was murdered during the night.
A police K-9 unit was deployed to track the suspects, but efforts yielded no leads.
The body was taken to Kabale Regional Referral Hospital mortuary as investigations continue. Police are urging anyone missing a relative to visit the mortuary for identification.
