Pastoralists block land boundary opening in Kasese

On Tuesday morning, the Kasese District Security Committee, led by Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Lt. Joe Walusimbi, visited the area to assist the parties in opening up the boundaries to enable each party to ascertain the size of land allocated to it as per the survey report.

A planned demarcation of disputed land in Nkoko, Kitswamba sub-county, Kasese district, was aborted on Tuesday after pastoralists, armed with sticks, turned up and resisted the exercise.
