“New Vision has products like Harvest Money, Best Farmer, Best Teacher, and Pakasa that help young businesses navigate their first few years. I hope every participant leaves here more exposed, richer in knowledge, and inspired to pursue better livelihoods.

Expect to hear from investors such as Aga Sekalala Jr. of Ugachick, Dr Dennis Ngabirano and Gasta Lule of Ntake Bakeries. Homegrown institutions like Centenary Bank, Pearl Bank and NSSF also have products tailored to your needs. Network while here.”

Moses Mulondo, Editor of the Pakasa pullout, urged entrepreneurs to leverage New Vision’s wide reach to connect with consumers across Uganda.

“We have New Vision, Bukedde, Etop, and digital platforms - through us, you can reach a vast and diverse audience. This room is full of achievers and movers ready to share real-life stories that will inspire you,” he said.

Mary Odongo, Managing Director of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN), emphasised growth, resilience, and collaboration. She praised New Vision for joining a global network that spans more than 200 countries.

“For 17 years, we have celebrated resilience. We appreciate Enterprise Uganda for guiding and motivating hopefuls, and we thank New Vision for joining over 100 corporate organisations working together to transform livelihoods,” Odongo said.

She highlighted that the forum is built on cooperation, not competition.

“This is about helping each other grow. People here are selling coffee, Wi-Fi services, herbs - there is something for everyone to take to the market.”

With enthusiasm high and fresh ideas circulating, the PAKASA Forum 2025 is cementing its place as a powerful launchpad for Uganda’s next generation of entrepreneurs.
