Overcome greed, self-interest — Ps Sserwadda

The Presiding Apostle of the Born-Again Faith in Uganda, Dr Joseph Sserwadda, has urged Christians to overcome corruption, self-interest, and greed and replace them with integrity, honesty, and generosity as we celebrate this Christmas.

Sserwadda said Christmas should remind us of the birth of Jesus Christ who came to bring light to the world overshadowed by greed selfishness and corruption, well as his life was full of love integrity and selfishness

Sserwadda said this in his Christmas message during a service at Victory Christian Church Ndeeba in Kampala.

He said greed and corruption undermine fairness and justice, as greed prioritizes personal gains while corruption robs what is meant for the well-being of communities.

“We need to share our blessing with those in need since true wealth is found in giving and caring for the vulnerable and marginalised people in our communities. Let's stand for honesty in our daily work whether business, governance or personal relations,” he said.

He also urged all Ugandans, especially armed personnel to respect the lives of others since it is the only gift from God which has no spare neither can it be replaceable.
