TORORO - Bishop Girado Olukol of Pentecostal Outreach Ministries has asked Ugandans to spend their festive season sparingly, aware of challenges ahead of them when the school terms open next year.
In his Christmas message, Olukol called for peaceful celebrations and the electioneering season, adding that people should learn to share and co-exist.
He called upon the people of Tororo district to unite and live in harmony since the president has finally resolved the 2 decades long conflict that had torn residents apart by creating three districts and a city out of the old Tororo district.
Olukol called upon the political candidates to prevail over their supporters by encouraging them to be peaceful throughout the campaign season.
