Newly appointed LOP Ssenyonyi to control sh2.7b annual budget
The sh2.7b, which is given to the LOP’s office as part of the Parliament budget, runs a ‘Shadow Cabinet’ and also covers trips for opposition MPs, among others.
The LOP’s office was upgraded to a department at the beginning of the 10th Parliament and this meant a bigger budget and more jobs.
