'Yes, you have done a good job'

"The New Vision People's Choice Film Awards recognizes all the hard work that goes into producing films and TV shows, in whatever aspect of that production," says New Vision's Kalungi Kabuye, who is a versatile photojournalist, fashion photographer, writer and published poet.

"All the agony, the moments of self-doubt and the refusal to give up. And the awards being solely voted for by the public, it is a recognition from the people who consume the films produced that yes, you have done a good job."
