Najjera Fest second edition: A whiskey-infused Christmas extravaganza

The residents of Kiwatule and Najjera, both city suburbs, were treated to an early Christmas and year-end celebrations as La Venti Kitchen and Lounge joined forces with Johnnie Walker to host the second edition of the Najjera Fest.

The event was filled with excitement, featuring a grand stage and renowned DJs from across Africa.

La Venti was beautifully transformed into a dazzling atmosphere. The festivities kicked off with guests arriving as early as 6:00pm, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening.

As the night progressed, the venue transformed into a vibrant display of lights and music.

The expansive Johnnie Walker bar, bathed in mesmerising lights, became a focal point that attracted whiskey enthusiasts eager to explore the extensive range of offerings.

Glasses clinked, meticulously crafted cocktails filled the air with delightful aromas, and the joyful laughter of revelers echoed throughout the venue.

Etania, known as the Life of The Party, effortlessly commanded the audience, while talented DJs like Fem DJ from Uganda and South Africa's DJ Tshegu brought their unique sounds, particularly the infectious Amapiano beats, which electrified the crowd and inspired some impressive dance moves.

However, the highlight of the night was DJ Slick Stuart, with his exceptional mixing skills, blending Afro Beats, Amapiano, and Pop music, which sent the revellers into a frenzy.

The crowd enthusiastically danced, sang along, and screamed in delight with each track he played.

 

The night continued with a lineup of talented DJs, including DJ Lito, DJ Roja, Rwanda's DJ Toxxyk, and Mahad DJ, who kept the crowd on their feet with an eclectic fusion of beats from across the continent.

The festivities carried on late into the night, leaving a lasting impression on all those fortunate enough to be a part of the second edition of the Najjera Fest.
