President Yoweri Museveni arrived in South Sudan's capital Juba on Thursday (April 3) for a working visit.
He was received at Juba International Airport by his host, President Salva Kiir Mayardit, according to a brief statement released by Museveni's press team.

The visiting head of state then inspected a guard of honour.
Museveni is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Kiir and other stakeholders.
The South Sudanese senior government officials who welcomed Museveni at the airport included:
▪️ Chol Mawut Ajongo (Minister of Presidential Affairs)
▪️ Ramadan Muhammed Abdalla (Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation)
▪️ Chol Thon Balok (Minister of Defense and Veteran Affairs)
Museveni is expected to hold bilateral meetings with Kiir and other stakeholders.
The Ugandan officials present included:
▪️ Jacob Oboth Oboth (Minister of Defense and Veteran Affairs)
▪️ Proscovia Nalweyiso (Senior Presidential Advisor on Defence and Security)
▪️ Brig. Gen. Ronnie Balya (Uganda's Ambassador to the Republic of South Sudan).
