President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni on Monday hosted a delegation from aerospace giant Boeing at State House-Entebbe, led by Kuljit Ghata-Aura, the president of Boeing-Middle East, Turkey, Africa, and Central Asia.

During the meeting, the President expressed Uganda's readiness to collaborate with Boeing to bolster the country's aviation sector.

Ghata shared with Museveni that Boeing has curated a comprehensive aviation system package aimed at supporting Uganda's infrastructure and aviation development.

The coordination of the meeting was overseen by the Presidential Advisory Committee on Exports and Industrial Development (PACEID), led by Odrek Rwabwogo, who also serves as a Senior Presidential Advisor—Special Duties.

Among the delegation members present were Captain Graig Bomben, the vice president of flight operations at Boeing, and Anbessie Yitbarek, the vice president of commercial airplane sales and marketing in Africa, among others.

The meeting also saw the attendance of officials from Uganda Airlines, Uganda Air Cargo, and the Civil Aviation Authority, among key stakeholders in Uganda's aviation sector.
