The Minister of State for finance in charge of General Duties, Henry Musasizi, on Thursday March 21, 2024 inaugurated the Insurance Training College board directors.

The mandate of the college is to train, examine and award insurance qualifications and other insurance accolades.

The board is chaired by Dr. Abdul Hafiz Walusimbi. Other board members are: Moses Turyomurugyendo (Vice chair), Musa Lukwago from the Ministry of finance, Sande Protazio of Insurance Regulatory Authority and Josephine Kiyingi representing the Ministry of Justice Ministry.

“I have trust that with your vast knowledge, you will maintain the highest level of competency and professionalism required of a board member," the minister said.

ITC over the years with proficiency-based training model has created a personalized learning experience that provides insurance employees and stakeholders with industry-specific skills.

The college has demonstrated a commitment to professional insurance training and career development.
