Military recalls Generals Gowa, Namanya from immigration
In an internal memo to staff, which The New Vision has seen, Gowa said: “Be informed that myself and Brig. Johnson Namanya Abaho’s tour of duty in the Ministry of Internal Affairs has come to an end, and we shall be returning to Defence headquarters for other assignments. I thank you all for the opportunity to have worked with you.”
Military sources confirmed that Maj. Gen. Apollo Kasiita-Gowa, who has been serving as director of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) and Brig. Gen. Johnson Abaho Namanya, Commissioner for Citizenship and Passport Management, have been asked to report back to the army headquarters.
