KAMPALA - The Homes and Construction Expo at Millenium Park, Lugogo was a chance for all to learn a thing or two about the industry.
Exhibitors, who were eager to sell, advise and generally engage with visitors at their stalls, pulled all the stops with their product displays.
One such exhibitor was Roma Granite & Marbles Ltd, which exports marble slabs from Bahrain.
Jagtar Singh, the factory manager of Roma Granite & Marbles Ltd, explained what sets their marble apart from others in the market.
“We have good material; it is first-class material,” he stated.
While pointing at a marble slab, Singh said, “This is so beautiful and it has a warranty. Even after 50 years, it won’t change colour; it’s natural.”
Singh says they can also fix the slab for the buyer but at an extra fee.
Expo gains
Singh, like other exhibitors, was happy that people visiting the stalls were interested in their products.
“We have good material; it is first-class material,” he states, adding that their slab is 20mm thick.
