Man sentenced for illegal entry into govt forest reserve

The resident of Kitoma, Irimya in Kicuzi sub-county accepted before the Ibanda Grade One Magistrate's Court to entering a wildlife protected area without permission, contrary to sections 30(a) and 70 of Uganda Wildlife Act 2019.

Richard Mwesigwa, 52, will have to spend the next five days working for the government following his sentencing for illegal entry into a protected area.
