Lubaga Cathedral Parishioners donate sh6m to Kiyinda-Mityana Cathedral

The donation was declared by the Assistant Administrator of Lubaga Cathedral, Fr Stephen Mayanja during the evening mass he presided over in the Cathedral on Sunday (April 21, 2024).

KAMPALA - Lubaga Cathedral parishioners have contributed shillings 6 million towards the renovation of Kiyinda-Mityana Cathedral.

This follows the fundraising visit of the parish priest of Kiyinda-Mityana, the Very Rev Fr Stephen Lusiba to Lubaga Cathedral last Sunday (April 14, 2024). The money was collected during the respective Sunday masses at the Cathedral.

The donation was declared by the Assistant Administrator of Lubaga Cathedral, Fr Stephen Mayanja during the evening mass he presided over in the Cathedral on Sunday (April 21, 2024).

Fr Mayanja also delivered a message of gratitude from Kiyinda-Mityana Cathedral.

Catholics commemorate Good Shepherd Sunday

Meanwhile Catholics all over the world on Sunday (April 21, 2024) commemorated Good Shepherd Sunday, which also doubles as Vocations Sunday.

During the mass at Lubaga Cathedral, the Christians made a special cash collection for Vocations. The money will be sent to the Vatican from where it will be allocated accordingly.
