The monarch added that Gologolo was also instrumental in fighting for the reinstatement of the Busoga Kingdom and participated in an election that saw him (Gabula) being appointed and enthroned as Kyabazinga of Busoga in September 2014.

He said Chief Gologolo has been transparent and had exhibited unity and accountability of purpose in his chiefdom adding that he was the author of many cultural books in Busoga.

Busoga Kingdom’s Prime Minister Dr. Joseph Muvawala was represented by his second deputy Owek. Osman Noor Ahmed said that Prince Gologolo was one of the pillars of the chiefs’ royal council and that he knew what it means to have self-esteem and confidence in whatever he did.

Osman added that Prince Gologolo has been such a positively proud musoga and that recently when the Commander of Land Forces, Lt. Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, was hosted by the Kyabazinga at Igenge Palace, Prince Gologolo stood to his feet and explained to Muhoozi all challenges in the Busoga Kingdom to seek solutions to them.
