Vision Group, in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, has organised the Harvest Money Expo 2026, which is taking place at Kololo Ceremonial grounds.
Apart from visiting exhibitors’ stalls, there is a series of training sessions organised over the three days of the expo. Entry costs sh10,000, and attendance at the training sessions costs an additional sh10,000 per day.

By 8:00am, when the gates opened to the public, exhibitors were ready to welcome visitors with the relevant information needed to start or improve their farming practices in order to increase production and profitability.
With joy and excitement, Rosemary Nnaalongo from Nganjo, Entebbe Road, said she had come with eight friends to learn about urban farming, since they live in an urban setting.
“We understand that there is a lot to learn at this expo. So we have come so that we can learn and start farming as a business,” she said.
Don Wanyama, the CEO of Vision Group, called upon all agribusiness sector players to come and learn, meet experts, input dealers, exporters and processors, and tap into possible business opportunities.
Christopher Magezi, the managing director of Champrisa International, said they would train farmers in best nutritional feeding practices that minimise farm expenditure and maximise returns on investment.

“We are coming in full force with so much to showcase to our customers, such as cages, drinkers, incubators and feed, among others. Come and experience nutrition that will help you cut farm costs and maximise profits,” Magezi said.
During a passion fruit growing session, Bashir Mayiga encouraged youths, women and people with small plots of land to venture into the business and make money.
Dr Patrick Ssekimpi, president of the Dairy Farmers Network (DAFAN), said they were at the expo to share knowledge and experiences about dairy farming, especially on how best to use locally available resources.
Other sponsors of the expo include Engineering Solutions, Tunga Nutrition, Pearl Bank, Uganda Development Corporation and aBi Development.
