“We are highly delighted that NDC-K has chosen to visit NDC-U as part of your regional and international tours. We are pleased to share this moment of professional engagement, mutual learning and strategic dialogue with you,” he said.
Brig. Gen. Olupot said the visit reflects the strong bond, friendship, cooperation and shared security interests that unite the two nations.
He noted that Uganda and Kenya have long stood together in the pursuit of peace, security, stability and prosperity within the region and beyond.
“The collaboration between NDC-K and NDC-U is an important pillar in strengthening partnerships as it brings together strategic thinkers who shape the security landscape of our region,” he said.
He added that the significance of the study tour can be understood across several dimensions, as it offers substantial strategic and academic value for NDC-K course members to understand Uganda’s course content and teaching methodologies.

He said the time spent at NDC-U would be fruitful both academically and culturally, contributing to building strong institutions, enhancing regional cooperation and preparing leaders for the evolving demands of national, regional and global affairs.
Maj. Gen. Yahya Abdi appreciated the hospitality received from NDC-U, noting that it reflects a bright future for both colleges.
He added that the collaboration strengthens the long-standing diplomatic relations between the two nations.
