One of the suspected terrorists who was shot, and a bomb recovered from his home in Nansana named his colleagues who participated in the Tuesday twin suicide bombing incident, President Yoweri Museveni has said.
In a statement released on Tuesday, November 16, Museveni said, "the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence/Police squads injured and captured the third terrorist in the area of Katooke, Bwaise with his bomb. He, later, died but gave us very good information before dying. His name is Musa Mudasiri. The bomber of Central Police Station was by the names of Mansoor Uthman, and the one of the Inspectorate General of Government office is by the names of Wanjusi Abdallah."
Museveni linked the same group to the attempted June Assassination of Works Minister Gen. Katumba Wamala, indicating that several had been killed and others arrested.
Six people were confirmed dead on Tuesday during the blast including the three terrorists while over 30 people were injured.
