Kabarole RDC tips leaders on politics and family
Sarah Ayesiga the Resident district Commissioner Kabarole has advised female councilors to remain faithful to their husbands even after ascending to positions of leadership.
“Make sure you stand on your feet and protect your husbands and families at large even as you serve the electorates,” Ayesiga said.
She advised them to remain humble, committed, and faithful to their husbands.
“Some people will start picking interest in you because you are now honorable councilors not knowing the far that you have come from with your spouses. Myself, I’m in Kabarole as RDC but while at home I’m a housewife and not a leader” she said.
She also appealed to the male councilors not to have multiple wives.
“Some men, it is also unfortunate that after getting to another level it is when they think of marrying other wives. This is a disservice to your family,” she said.
She also advised council to always solve their disagreements internally and to also learn the art of caucusing.
