The 7th Regional Ministerial Forum on Migration (RMFM) on harmonising labour migration policies across East and the Horn of Africa has opened at Speke Resort, Munyonyo.
The four-day conference, running from March 24 to 27, 2026, is convened under the theme: “Expanding regular labour migration channels to promote skills mobility, decent employment, and safe alternatives to irregular migration.”
The forum brings together regional policymakers and stakeholders to strengthen coordinated approaches to labour migration, with a focus on enhancing opportunities for safe, orderly, and productive movement of workers.
