ACME AWARDS

18 journalists from different media organisations in Uganda gathered on Wednesday evening (May 28) at Mestil Hotel in Nsambya to celebrate excellence in journalism as well as to take home top awards at the Uganda National Journalism Awards 2025. With 19 competition categories, it was poised to be a close battle for the top awards.


Vision Group journalists who managed to scoop top awards at the Uganda National Journalism Awards 2025 include: Nelson Mandela Muhoozi (Winner of the Agriculture Reporting category), Gerald Tenywa (Winner of the Public Accountability Reporting Award), Richard Wetaya (Winner of the Science and Technology Reporting Award), Rosemary Anena of Radio Rupiny (Winner of the Religion Reporting Award).
