Immigration officers dump 109 Eritreans in wilderness

Among dumped Eritrean immigrants included expectant and breastfeeding mothers, men and three infant boys. Upon arrival at the border, government officials reportedly asked the Eritreans to disembark and walk back to their home country or die in the wilderness – the buses then drove away.

KAMPALA - At least 109 Eritrean immigrants, reportedly seeking asylum in Uganda, were dumped in the wilderness at the Uganda–Kenya border on Saturday.
