Hundreds flee Uganda-Kenya border villages as Turkana cattle raiders regroup
Intelligence reports indicate that a mafia gang comprising the Bokora, Pokot and Matheniko including Turkana bandits has been formed mainly to steal cows and sell them off to abattoirs in Kenya.
At least 300 locals have left the Kenya border villages inside Uganda since Thursday (September 28), fearing attacks by suspected Turkana rustlers in Moroto district.
