Human trafficking: Senior Police officer pre-trial starts

Arinaitwe plunged into the limelight after he sprayed former presidential candidate and Forum for Democratic Change founder member Dr Kizza Besigye with pepper during a walk-to-work campaign in 2011.

Arinaitwe is battling the charge of trafficking in persons contrary to sections 3(1)(a) and (4)(h) of the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act 2009. If found guilty, Arinaitwe will spend the rest of his life in Luzira Prison. (New Vision/Files)
