Kabira Country Club, located on Old Kira Road in Bukoto has, for long, been a beautiful place one can have a wedding ceremony. 

Exhibiting at the Bride&Groom Expo 2023, the club’s marketing executive, Belinda Toni, said couples who choose Kabira for their wedding reception will enjoy much more than they pay for.

“We have a special wedding package that includes tables and chairs, two bottles of wine, a full buffet with a bottle of soda or water plus a one-night stay for the couple on the wedding day,” she said. 

She added that this offer is valid for a couple whose guest list is below 100. In addition to bed and breakfast, the newly-weds have access to a health club, tennis, squash, steam and sauna. 

A couple with more than 100 guests is entitled to all the above benefits, including a full board for a first-anniversary celebration arranged. 

She says the club also arranges birthday packages, bridal showers, graduation ceremonies and conferences.

At Aquarius Kigo Resort, Fred Kutesa, the operations’ manager says one’s guests can enjoy an unforgettable ceremony. The resort has a warm and romantic ambience that is laid back and worth every penny you spend for a wedding experience.

Located next to Mirembe Villas, Kigo Prison Road, the venue offers both garden and indoor reception weddings, Kutesa says. 

A garden wedding reception venue accommodates between 50 and 1000 guests, while the indoor reception hall has a sitting capacity of over 50 -100 guests. 

“A couple is given a one-night, full board after the wedding and beverages are offered at a discounted price. If they stay for three nights and above, they are given a discount on the full board fee,” Kutesa says.

Whatever your wedding package, free white linen chair covers, napkins and deco for a white wedding are provided free of charge. If a couple has another colour that they want to add to their deco, they have to have another arrangement for a decorator at an added cost.
