▶️ Govt to compensate all Kampala-Jinja expressway affected persons

The government has agreed to compensate the entire Kampala-Jinja expressway project-affected persons. 

Initially, the government had only agreed to pay off only those people that provided proof of ownership of the affected land, which left a huge number of claimants disgruntled.

During a stakeholders meeting held Friday between Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA), the Works ministry, and affected persons, it was revealed that everyone would be adequately and equitably compensated.
