Govt recovers sh14b from corrupt officials
Kamya revealed that a cash payment of sh6b was deposited into the Inspectorate of Government (IG) asset recovery account, and property worth sh8.7b was handed over to the institution in lieu of cash.

The Government recovered sh14.7b from the proceeds of corruption in the financial year 2023/2024, according to Inspector General of Government (IGG) Beti Kamya.
Kamya revealed that a cash payment
