The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba has visited Kakira Sugar Limited where he inspected different units of the establishment. 

Managing Director, Mr Mayur Madhvani received  Kainerugaba  and guided him on a tour of the factory located in Kakira,  Jinja District in Eastern Uganda. 

 Kainerugaba's office, on Thursday evening shared several photos of the visit and reported that Madhvani also briefed his visitor on the progress of the business at Kakira and other business establishments under the he Madhvani Group of Companies.

Kakira is the flagship enterprise of a diverse portfolio of affiliates that make up the Madhvani group. 

Commonly referred to as the Madhvani Group, the establishment founded by Muljibhai Prabhudas  Madhvani in 1930 is one of the largest conglomerates in Uganda.

 Based in Kakira, the group  also has investments in Kenya,  Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, the Middle East, India, and t North America
