Ranchers Finest has continued to strengthen its position in Uganda’s meat industry through expanded operations, strategic partnerships, and active engagement with the farming community.
Dinah Nyakato, the marketing lead of Ranchers Finest, said the company is already operating processing facilities in Bwaise, Kampala.

“From beef and chicken cuts to value-added products such as sausages and burgers, the facility plays a key role in supplying both retail and wholesale markets,” she said, emphasising that the factory ensures consistent quality and strict adherence to food safety standards.
Beyond processing, Ranchers Finest operates a growing chain of meat supermarkets at Forest Mall Lugogo, Kabalagala and Bwaise. These outlets provide customers with fresh, hygienically handled meat products at competitive prices. They are designed to offer convenience, transparency and trusted quality to households, restaurants and institutions.
Recently, Ranchers Finest entered into a partnership with AAA Farms (now known as Finest Farms). Nyakato described the venture as a bold, fully integrated initiative aimed at addressing supply chain instabilities that have historically challenged Uganda’s hospitality industry.

At the ongoing Harvest Money Expo, Ranchers Finest is showcasing its products and commitment to the sector, engaging with farmers, agribusiness stakeholders and consumers.
Nyakato said the Expo provides a platform for the company to demonstrate its value-added products alongside hundreds of other exhibitors.
“With continued investment in processing, retail expansion, and farmer partnerships, Ranchers Finest is positioning itself as a key contributor to Uganda’s evolving agribusiness landscape,” she said.
Through these initiatives, Ranchers Finest is not only expanding its footprint, but also strengthening the local meat supply chain, ensuring quality products reach both retail and wholesale markets while supporting farmers and agribusiness stakeholders.

Sponsored by the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Tunga Nutrition, Engineering Solutions (ENGSOL), Uganda Development Corporation, aBi Development, Pearl Bank, Heifer International and Roke Telkom, the Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF), as well as the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), the expo is a must-attend this weekend.
