Motorists from Kampala heading to Gulu or West Nile were advised to use the Luwero-Kafu-Masindi-Paraa route, which goes through Murchison Falls National Park, to connect to Pakwach or Gulu.

According to Among, this change will likely increase the cost and time of transportation to northern Uganda, leading to a rise in the cost of commodities and living expenses and hence the need to expedite the remedial process.
